Wear a poppy. Remember them.
From the last Friday of October until Remembrance Day, millions of Canadians wear a poppy as a visual pledge to never forget those who served and sacrificed. Every poppy donation supports Veterans and their families in need.
Approximately $85,000 stayed right here in Sarnia
Thanks to your generosity, last year's Poppy Fund provided emergency assistance and support to Veterans, their families, surviving spouses and dependents, and our local cadet corps.
- Emergency financial assistance for Veterans and their families
- Support for surviving spouses and dependents
- Local Cadet Corps and youth Remembrance programs
- Remembrance Day ceremonies and the Cenotaph service
As per the Poppy Manual (Public Notice 606), the most recent Poppy Financial Statement is published here. The statement for the year ending December 31, 2026 will be available in our January 2027 newsletter and on this page.
Every dollar donated to the Poppy Fund in Sarnia stays in the Poppy Trust Fund to help local Veterans and families.
